At Ground Zero we pride ourselves on the quality of our ground work. As combative sports fighters we also understand that to be a complete, well rounded practitioner (during both training and competition) application of a skilled stand up game is a must.
During competition all BJJ fights start from standing and more often than not self defence situations will begin from standing. At Ground Zero we know the world of fighting when it comes to the ground but we must also acknowledge and learn how to get others there and, more importantly, what others may do to get us there.
As such we offer all of our students this weekly dedicated lunch time class with Judo Black Belt Kirren Robson Garth. A full hour session focusing on the skill set you need to feel confident during a stand up fight. Learn to throw, break-fall & roll in a safe and supportive environment.
Ground Zero, Melbourne CBD:
