GZ - More Than A Workout

I feel very fortunate to have such a great club, with great people and while the city can be a loud annoying place with too much traffic having a dinner in a chinatown restaurant with a few of the guys is just as good as the training itself.

We all train for different reasons, but the one thing we all love is the camaraderie, without each other it wouldn't be anywhere near as much fun. Punching a punch bag at home cant be compared to the great vibe and workout you get as part of a group, all of you working on your individual techniques but all of us doing the same art.

It's one of the reasons traditionally BJJ schools don't separate students by grade, we all help each other learn. Even higher grades learn from watching lower ones, no one person knows it all and this information sharing combined with friendly competition is what makes BJJ so addictive.

If your thinking of trying BJJ, and live near the city you'll love being apart of GZ, come out to a pub to watch the UFC (whether you drink alcohol or not doesn't matter) and cheer on your favourite fighter, we have a great team and just love watching it get bigger.
